Silo Studio have partnered with Destiny Rescue to support the vital work of freeing children from slavery and exploitation.

We are making a monthly donation to help the Destiny Rescue team.

The reason behind this decision?

Back in 2015, I went on a 6 month trip, volunteering in parts of India, Nepal and Thailand. While I was in Thailand, I had the privilege of volunteering for a short time at an organisation that were helping free those from sex trafficking and slavery. I saw first hand the reality of what these children and women are going through on a day-to-day basis. Most of them have no other option to be able to provide for their families. Sadly, for these women and children it is considered ‘normal’ to sell themselves as they have not experienced anything different. By partnering with Destiny Rescue we are helping the Destiny Rescue team to not only rescue these women and children but offer them skills and training in areas to seek employment in stable jobs that offer security, financial freedom and a sense of purpose.
